Privacy Policy for zoTrackr

This Privacy Policy explains how zoTrackr ("the App") handles your information.

Overview

zoTrackr is designed to work primarily on your device. The App does not require account creation and does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Information the App Processes

The App processes the information you enter to provide its core tracking features, including:

  • Session names and emojis.
  • Session settings (such as planned count, themes, and reminder preferences).
  • Session progress and activity history (timestamps and log events).
  • Appearance preference (light or dark mode).

How Information Is Stored

  • Data is stored locally on your device using iOS local storage (UserDefaults).
  • Notification reminders are scheduled using Apple's local notification system (UNUserNotificationCenter).
  • The App does not operate a backend server for storing your session data.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, zoTrackr requests notification permission from iOS. If granted, reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device at your selected times.

You can disable notifications at any time in the App or in iOS Settings.

Data Sharing

zoTrackr does not sell your data and does not share your session data with third parties for advertising or analytics.

The App does not currently transmit your session content to external services as part of normal operation.

Data Retention and Deletion

  • Your data remains on your device until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App.
  • Deleting sessions or activity logs in the App removes that information from local storage.
  • Uninstalling the App removes locally stored app data, subject to iOS behavior and any device backup settings.

Children's Privacy

zoTrackr is not directed to children under 13, and the App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International Users

Because data is stored locally on your device, handling of your data is primarily governed by your device and platform configuration.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When updated, the "Effective date" at the top will be revised.
